Lodge's 8 quart pre-seasoned cast iron Camp Dutch Oven is built for cooking directly over campfire coals, with three integral legs, a bail handle for hanging or carrying, and a flanged lid that holds coals on top.
This is a different tool from a kitchen dutch oven: the legs and flanged lid exist specifically so coals can go both underneath and on top of the lid, which is how outdoor camp cooking gets oven-like heat without an actual oven. The flanged lid also flips over to work as a griddle.
