Overview
A non-retractable metal handle holds the blade in this number one style X-ACTO knife. The item type says knife with blades, and the handle and blade are both metal in an aluminum colored finish.
A simple fixed handle suits cutting, trimming and craft work where a retracting blade is not needed. The listing does not say how many blades come in the package, and the size entries look wrong.
Who it's for
Detail cutting in paper, balsa and hobby materials is the usual job for a knife of this style. Heavy utility cutting suits a stouter tool.
Pros and cons
- Fixed blade handle
- Number one style
- Blade count not listed
- Length and weight entries look wrong
- No retracting blade
- Cap or cover not listed
Performance notes
Because the handle is fixed, the blade stays at one angle, so control depends on grip and sharpness. A fresh blade cuts cleaner and needs less pressure. Blade shape and count are not described.
