Overview
Not a one-piece bottle, the Playtex nurser is a drop-in design with a holder, a ring, a cap and a wide nipple for each bottle. The vented nipple and anti-colic design target newborn feeding at a slow flow.
Choose it for a newborn feeding set that uses a drop-in format and a wide mouth for filling. The limits are liners that the included list does not name and a not-microwaveable listing.
Who it's for
A household feeding a newborn that wants a slow-flow, vented bottle set that goes in the dishwasher. Skip it for microwave warming or for babies who need a faster flow.
Pros and cons
- Slow flow vented nipple
- Anti-colic design listed
- Wide mouth drop-in format
- Liners not in the included list
- Multi color finish cannot be chosen
Performance notes
The vented nipple lets air enter as the baby feeds, which is the listed anti-colic feature, and the slow flow speed suits a newborn. A drop-in design pairs a liner with the holder, so the holder, ring and cap are the working parts of each bottle.
