Overview
Not a live pitcher, this electronic youth machine tosses a plastic baseball on a set cycle, with a light that flashes just before each toss. The height and the toss angle can be adjusted, and six plastic balls come in the box.
A timed toss with a warning light gives a young batter a steady rhythm to swing to, and the angle settings let the practice change from session to session. The listing never says what powers the machine.
Who it's for
Younger kids learning to track and swing at a pitch on a predictable timer. Older or more advanced players will outgrow the plastic balls and fixed interval quickly.
Pros and cons
- Light signals each toss
- Three angle settings
- Six balls in the box
- Power source not listed
- Plastic balls only
- Fixed toss interval
Performance notes
The machine releases a ball on a repeating timer, and the flashing light tells the batter when the next toss is coming. Angle and height settings change where the ball travels, so the batter can practice different pitch heights.
