Overview
Not an extension cord alone, this is a surge-protecting power strip with a plug that swivels all the way around to clear the wall. The long cord and rotating plug help it reach awkward outlets.
Surge protection, a swiveling plug and a roomy cord length make this a straightforward replacement for a worn strip. The listing gives little detail beyond ratings, so there is no confirmed outlet spacing or switch information.
Who it's for
A bedroom, dorm or compact office with a few devices that need surge coverage. The rotating plug helps when the wall outlet is tight against furniture. Skip it for crowded workstations that need many bulky adapters.
Pros and cons
- Swivel plug clears tight wall outlets
- Long cord adds placement choice
- Surge protection with a stated joule rating
- Warranty covers two years
- Outlet spacing not described
- Joule rating is modest for heavy gear
- Listing has little supporting detail
Performance notes
The joule rating shows how much surge energy the strip can absorb before its protection wears out. The rotating plug changes fit at the wall, not electrical behavior. Without listed clamping voltage, judge protection by the joule figure alone.
