Overview
A patio host or porch owner who wants warmth without a gas tank gets this Fire Sense infrared heater on a telescoping offset pole with wheels. It plugs into household current, has a protective aluminum heat shield, and a cover is supplied.
Plug-in power and wheels make it easy to place under cover or on a porch. Heating coverage is limited to a small seating area.
Who it's for
A covered porch or a small seating group suits the stated coverage and the cord length. Large open spaces need more output, and sites without an outlet need another fuel.
Pros and cons
- Electric, no fuel tank
- Wheels for moving it
- Tip over and overheat protection
- Small heating coverage listed
- Cord length limits placement
- Weight stated two ways
Performance notes
Infrared elements warm people and objects directly rather than heating the air, so it works outside where air moves. The description claims a stable zone of heat that wind does not affect, while the offset pole and head angle aim the warmth at the seating area.
