Overview
A woodworking bench or a home workshop is where this Irwin clamp gets used. It is sold as a single clamp in a twenty-four inch size with a resin body in blue.
Resin holds weight down, which helps for one-handed work on a long reach. A tensile strength figure is listed, but clamping force and jaw depth are not. The warranty field holds only a single word.
Who it's for
A woodworker holding a panel or a frame during gluing gets a long-reach clamp at low weight. Shoppers who want several clamps should know that this listing is for a single one.
Pros and cons
- Light resin body
- Tensile strength listed
- Blue color is easy to spot
- Clamping force not listed
- Jaw depth not given
- Resin is less rigid than steel
- Single clamp only
Performance notes
A long reach lets the clamp span wide work, while clamping force depends on the mechanism, which the listing does not describe. Resin lowers weight but flexes more than metal under heavy load. The listed tensile strength is the only load figure.
