Overview
A dock, boat or lake beach is where this red Onyx child jacket is meant to be worn. Nylon covers the foam, the sides are open with large armholes, and belts, a chest strap and a leg strap hold it on.
Armholes and an open-sided cut give a smaller child room to move, while the straps help the vest stay down on the body. A jacket sized this tightly cannot cover a growing child for long.
Who it's for
Children inside the stated weight range who need a jacket for boating or play on the water. Parents of smaller or larger children should pick the matching size.
Pros and cons
- Leg strap for added hold
- Approved per the listing
- Narrow weight band
- Blue and red use different item numbers
- Care steps not listed
Performance notes
Foam supplies the lift and the belts, chest strap and leg strap keep the jacket from riding up. Fit decides whether it works, so cinch it and test that it stays put before the child goes in the water.
