Overview
Parents who want a movable tetherball get a system built from HDPE, nylon and steel parts. It is sold as one unit and is meant to be placed and played, rather than set in concrete.
A five year limited warranty is the strongest listed point, and the steel base suggests a sturdy foundation for kids. The listing gives no pole height, ball size or fill method, so those details are unknown before purchase.
Who it's for
A pair of kids playing in a yard or driveway can set this up and move it. Those who need a tall regulation pole or a permanent in-ground post should consider other options.
Pros and cons
- Portable, can be moved
- Alloy steel base and frame
- Long manufacturer warranty
- Suited to two players
- Pole height not listed
- Setup steps not listed
- Ball and rope details missing
- Recommended use field is unreliable
Performance notes
The portable design depends on the base staying put during play. How well it resists tipping depends on the base weight or fill method, which the listing does not state.
