Overview
A dark silhouette on the surface is the idea behind this black Arbogast topwater lure, which carries a treble hook and a plastic body. The listing gives its length in inches.
A dark shape on top of the water is the reason to look at it for low light and evening bass fishing. The limit is that the listing does not describe the lure's action.
Who it's for
Evening fishing near shallow cover suits a dark topwater. Anglers who want to fish below the surface, or need a stated action, should look at other lures.
Pros and cons
- Aimed at bass
- Surface action not described
- Hook size not listed
- Surface use only
Performance notes
A black lure makes a clear silhouette against the sky when seen from below, which helps in low light. The weight allows a good cast on medium tackle. Retrieve speed changes the surface noise.
