Overview
Nutrex Hawaii grows its spirulina on a farm in Kona and presses it into a plain tablet. The listing calls it a vegan superfood and ties it to immune support and cellular energy, with chlorophyll listed too.
A long supply, a named growing location and broad diet labels are the reasons to consider it. What the listing leaves out is the serving size and any nutrient numbers.
Who it's for
Adults who want a single-ingredient algae supplement and care about where it is grown are the target. Those after a powder, a blend or stated nutrient amounts should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Farm grown in Kona
- Vegan and halal listing
- Allergen-free and gluten free
- Large tablet count
- Serving size not listed

Performance notes
Spirulina is a dried algae, and pressing it into tablets makes it easy to measure by count. The strength per tablet is stated, so the daily total depends on how many you take. The listing names energy and immune support as uses.
