Overview
Not a handheld spot cleaner, this is a full-size upright machine built with powerful motors, an extra large brush roll and an anti-tip design. The attached hose and stain tool handle stairs, upholstery edges and set-in marks.
Deep brushing and a big tank are the reasons to look at it for pet owners, large rooms or rental turnover jobs. The machine is bulky and corded, so it needs space and a nearby outlet.
Who it's for
People who want a professional-style cleaning session across big rooms and a hose for spot work. Someone with limited storage or who only needs occasional spills should choose something smaller.
Pros and cons
- Extra large brush roll for deep dirt
- Hose and stain tool for spots
- Cleaning formula included
- Long limited warranty
- Heavy to move and carry
- Corded power only
- Large footprint to store
Performance notes
The brush roll agitates the carpet fibers and loosens dirt, and the machine then flushes and extracts it using cleaning solution from the tank. A bigger brush and stronger motors cover more fiber per pass. The hose tools draw from the same tank, which helps on steps and set-in marks.
