Overview
A builder ready for the next level after a basic kit gets a sporty rocket that can be flown in two configurations. The Hyper Bat stands tall and can be launched as a single stage or as two stages stacked. The maker describes it as impressive and out-of-sight high.
Flexibility is the strength: fly it simple for a quick launch or stage it for a big altitude gain.
Who it's for
Experienced young builders with an adult nearby, and hobbyists who enjoy staged flight, will find a tall kit with room to grow. Newcomers who need a quick first launch, or who lack tools and launch gear, should start with a ready-to-fly set.
Pros and cons
- Flies as single or two-stage
- Tall sport rocket profile
- Very high stated altitude
- One year warranty
- Needs assembly and finishing
- Launch system sold separately
- Engines and igniters sold separately
- Parts and engine details not listed
Performance notes
Flying in two stages adds a second engine burn, which the maker ties to the quoted peak altitude. As a single stage it flies lower and is simpler to launch. Either way, results depend on the engines fitted, which the listing does not specify.
