Overview
Powering through engineering and science coursework is the job of this handheld model. A single lithium metal battery runs the LCD, and the plastic case holds the weight down.
A familiar format from a well-known school calculator maker, with the battery supplied and a manufacturer warranty behind it. The listing carries no feature list, so function details and exam approval must come from the maker.
Who it's for
Engineering and science students who want a handheld model they can slip into a bag. Confirm that it is allowed in your exam before relying on it. Graphing course buyers need a different class.
Pros and cons
- Plastic case stays light
- Manufacturer warranty stated
- Feature list not given
- Not a graphing calculator
- Title size figure conflicts with specs
Performance notes
A single-lens LCD shows the entry and result on a small screen, so long expressions scroll. Battery power means the display works in any light. The listing offers no function count, so performance claims cannot be made beyond the scientific class.
