Overview
Inflating by mouth through the oral inflator sets how much float the child has, while a buckle, crotch strap and removable anti-ride-up strap hold the vest in place. A name box on the front lets a parent label it for a group trip.
Children snorkeling or learning water confidence get a high-visibility vest that adjusts its buoyancy and stays put. The listing gives no safety standard, so treat it as a flotation aid and keep a parent near the child.
Who it's for
Kids snorkeling under adult watch, especially in a group where vests are labeled, will use it as intended. Adults, heavier teens and anyone requiring a certified device should choose another vest.
Pros and cons
- Oral inflator for adjustable buoyancy
- Removable anti-ride-up strap
- High-visibility neon color
- Name box for labeling
- Youth only, limited weight range
- Safety rating not listed
- Short 30 day warranty
Performance notes
Air in the bladder gives the float, so the child adds or releases breath to change lift. The crotch strap resists the vest riding toward the chin, which is the common way a vest fails a small swimmer.
