Overview
Not a junior racket, this Wilson Hyper Hammer is an adult recreational racket with a composite build, graphite frame and carbon fiber shaft. It arrives strung with black strings.
Casual players get a ready-to-play racket from a known brand. Head size, balance and string pattern are not listed, so a player who is picky about feel has little to go on.
Who it's for
Casual players and returning adults who play on weekends will use it as intended. Tournament players and anyone who wants documented specs should compare other rackets.
Pros and cons
- Carbon fiber shaft
- Head size not listed
- Balance not stated
- No cover mentioned
Performance notes
The stiffness of graphite and carbon fiber governs how much power returns to the ball, while grip size affects comfort and wrist stability. Head size sets the sweet spot, and that figure is missing.
