Overview
A chromium-vanadium steel head does the gripping and cutting on these Knipex pliers, backed by alloy steel handles with an ergonomic grip. They ship with an instruction guide.
Quality steel and a shaped grip suit a tradesperson who uses pliers daily. The limitation is a listing that gives conflicting length figures and an impossible weight.
Who it's for
Daily gripping and cutting work, where a durable head and a comfortable grip matter, is the situation. Shoppers who need insulation ratings or jaw details should look at a listing that states them.
Pros and cons
- Chromium-vanadium steel head
- Alloy steel handles
- Instruction guide included
- Lifetime warranty offered
- Weight entry is implausible
- Warranty excludes abuse
- Insulation rating not listed
Performance notes
Chromium-vanadium steel resists wear at the jaw edges, and the handles carry the squeeze force from the hand. The ergonomic grip spreads that pressure. The listed cutting width limits the size of material that can be cut.
