Overview
Folding down for tight storage, this commuter bike has alloy wheels, a steel frame and a rear carrier with a nylon bag. It is single speed and uses linear pull brakes.
The fold-away frame and the included bag are the reasons to consider it for apartment living and city commutes. The limitation is the single speed drivetrain and the missing folded size.
Who it's for
City riders, students and anyone with a small apartment can tuck the bike away between rides. Hill climbers, trail riders and riders under the minimum height should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Folds for storage
- Rear carrier with nylon bag
- Single speed, low maintenance
- Limited lifetime warranty
- Folded size not listed
- Single speed limits hills
Performance notes
A single speed makes the drivetrain simple, but gear range is fixed, so steep hills mean walking. Smaller wheels turn faster for a given speed and make the bike easier to fold. A folding joint adds a flex point that the listing does not rate.
