Overview
A rectangular foam face stops arrows from a youth bow, with a black and white finish and a stated draw weight rating. The listing mentions easy removal and gives only a few measurements.
A low draw weight rating and easy arrow removal are the reasons to choose it for a young beginner. The size is stated two ways, and the listing does not explain how it stands or hangs.
Who it's for
Young archers with light bows who practice close range will find the foam face forgiving. Adults, crossbow shooters and anyone with a heavier bow need a thicker, denser target.
Pros and cons
- Light foam construction
- Easy arrow removal
- Youth draw weight rating
- Low weight to carry
- Size stated two ways
- Stand not included
- Heavy bows not suited
Performance notes
Foam compresses around the arrow and grips it, so removal needs some pull, which the listing says is easy. The thin build suits only light draw weights and short distances. Repeated hits in one spot wear the face over time.
