Overview
A flight with a tight luggage allowance is the setting for this ladies travel BCD, which weighs very little and folds in half thanks to a low profile back pack. The Bioflex bladder, adjustable sternum strap and right shoulder carabiner round out the layout.
Very low weight and a foldable back are the reasons to choose it for travel. It is aimed at experienced divers, and the listing mixes releasable and non-drop weight pockets that need to be understood before diving.
Who it's for
Experienced women divers who fly often will value the low packed weight and the foldable back. Beginners who are unfamiliar with partly non-drop weight pockets, or divers carrying heavy gear, should look at a sturdier BCD.
Pros and cons
- Integrated weight system
- Quick drop front weights
- Folds in half for travel
- Self adjusting sternum strap
- Tank band weights are non-drop
- Aimed at experienced divers
- Light build, not heavy-duty
- Single size listed
Performance notes
A low profile bladder and back pack cut bulk, and the integrated pockets carry ballast without a separate belt. Front pockets release quickly, while the tank band pockets stay in place. A self-adjusting sternum strap helps the vest keep its fit.
