Overview
Greenworks ST80L210 is a brushless cordless string trimmer with a wide cutting path and a dual line bump feed head, aimed at medium to large lawns.
A wide path and dual line cover ground quickly, and the brushless motor is credited with torque and quiet running. The battery life figure is brief, so bigger lawns need a recharge.
Who it's for
Homeowners who already use the 80V platform or want gas-free power for medium to large lawns. Smaller yards, or users who prefer lighter tools, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Wide cutting path
- Variable speed trigger
- Long warranty on tool and battery
- Short listed battery life
- Heavy for a trimmer
- Battery capacity is modest
Performance notes
A brushless motor delivers torque at the string, and the variable speed trigger lets the user ease off near plants. The dual line bump head advances when tapped. Battery life is listed at a short time, and the rapid charger restores it in about the same time.
