Overview
A pool lounge or a lake float is the role of this oversized foam noodle, which has a ribbed non-slip surface and a triple dip vinyl coating. The coating is rated against chemicals and the elements.
Adults get a float that carries real weight and resists fading, and the warranty is long for a noodle. It is far thicker than a typical noodle, so it takes more room in storage.
Who it's for
Lounging, water aerobics and open-water floating all suit a thick noodle. Anyone needing a swim aid for non-swimmers should look at proper flotation gear.
Pros and cons
- Supports adults to the weight limit
- Ribbed non-slip foam
- Chlorine and UV resistant coating
- Bulky to store
- Not a safety device
- One color per listing
- Much thicker than standard noodles
Performance notes
Closed-cell foam gives buoyancy and the vinyl dip coating protects it from chlorine, salt and sun, which slows fading and crumbling. The ribbed surface adds grip when wet.
