Overview
A brushless motor drives the tower fan's blades inside a tall black plastic housing that oscillates side to side. Button controls on the unit and a remote handle speed, timer and oscillation.
The reason to buy is a quiet, low-wattage fan with many speed steps that moves air through a room at low noise. The limit is that it circulates air rather than cooling it.
Who it's for
Apartment and bedroom users who want gentle, steady airflow at low noise get the most from it. A person needing an air conditioner or a fan for outdoor patios should choose a different product.
Pros and cons
- Eight speed steps
- Remote and timer
- Moves air, not cooling it
- Indoor use only
- Speed and voltage entries unclear
Performance notes
The brushless motor drives airflow with low noise, and oscillation spreads the airflow across the room. The speed steps let you balance airflow and sound, and the timer turns the fan off after a set period.
