Overview
Reloading and carrying gear on the chest is the job of this Recon rig, which has stacker style magazine pouches built in. Adjustable flaps on the pistol pouches come off, and extra MOLLE webbing is available on the sides and shoulder strap.
The reason to buy is quick access to magazines in a heavyweight polyester body, with room to attach more pouches. The limit is the one-size cut, with no chest range given, and a hand wash only care label.
Who it's for
Range shooters, airsoft players and outdoor users who want a simple chest-mounted setup they can add to. Those who need a specific chest measurement or a rig with hydration built in should look at another model.
Pros and cons
- Built-in magazine pouches
- Removable pistol pouch flaps
- MOLLE on sides and strap
- Push release buckles
- One size only
- Chest range not listed
- Hand wash only
Performance notes
The stacker pouches are meant to let the user reach magazines quickly, and the removable flaps let the pistol pouches carry a knife or multi-tool instead. The heavyweight polyester body does not stretch, so the fit is set by the buckles. Added MOLLE pouches change the load and balance.
