Overview
Not a deep-scratch repair, this kit targets light marks with a foam eraser pad on a household drill and ScratchX compound. A microfiber towel then removes the residue.
Machine-assisted scratch work without buying a polisher is the idea, and the kit bundles the compound, pad and towel to do it. The limitation is the stated scope of light defects, so deeper gouges fall outside it.
Who it's for
Owners with a household drill who want to tackle light scuffs between full details will find the kit approachable. Anyone facing deep paint damage, or who prefers hand polishing only, gets little from the drill pad.
Pros and cons
- Bundles compound, pad and towel
- Pad attaches to a household drill
- Clear coat safe per the listing
- Targets scuffs and paint transfer
- Light defects only
- Drill not included
- Warranty terms not detailed
Performance notes
The foam pad spreads the abrasive compound evenly while the drill supplies steady rotation, so the fine abrasives level the edges of a light scratch. Drill speed and pressure govern the result, and gentle passes protect the paint from overworking one spot. The microfiber towel then lifts residue so the finish can be checked.
