Overview
Pouring magnesium flakes into a bath is the use the title and category point to. NOW Foods describes the flakes as pure, highly concentrated and sourced from an ancient seabed.
A big bag of concentrated flakes covers many soaks. The specs read like a supplement, with a capsule form and a supplement type of magnesium, so the label is the only reliable guide to how to use it.
Who it's for
People who take frequent baths or foot soaks and want a bulk magnesium flake product. Anyone looking for an oral supplement, or a small trial size, should choose a different item.
Pros and cons
- Large bag for many soaks
- Described as pure
- Vegan and vegetarian
- Skin health benefit
- Form field says capsule
- Flavor field irrelevant
- No usage directions on listing
Performance notes
Flakes dissolve in warm water to make a magnesium-rich soak, so the strength of the bath depends on how many are added and how long the soak lasts. The listing gives no suggested amount.
