Overview
A two stage cloth filter system and a bagless dust bin drive this Makita cordless vacuum, which works as a hand vac or, with the extension and floor nozzle, as a stick.
Reason to buy is the fit into an existing Makita battery system, with protection circuits and a bagless bin. The limitation is that the tool ships alone, so anyone without compatible batteries and a charger must source them first.
Who it's for
Tradespeople and homeowners already invested in the Makita 18V system get a vacuum that shares their batteries. Shoppers starting from nothing need a battery and charger before it does anything.
Pros and cons
- Shares Makita 18V LXT batteries
- Hand vac or stick use
- Bagless two stage cloth filtration
- Overheat and overload protection
- Battery and charger not included
- Small dust capacity
- Single power level
Performance notes
Suction and runtime depend on the battery fitted, and the listed runtime assumes a large capacity battery. The cloth filter stages catch debris before fine dust builds up, and the bagless bin empties quickly. Protection circuits cut power on overload, deep discharge or heat.
