Overview
A rigging session at the tackle bench is where these Dr.Fish swivels get used, in a bulk pack finished in black nickel. They combine brass and stainless steel, and the size field gives the diameter and strength.
Stated strength, a clear size and a warranty make these easy to assess, and a large pack covers many rigs. The listing data is messy, with fields for screw heads and groove diameter that do not describe a swivel.
Who it's for
A light tackle angler stocking small hardware for leaders. Anglers fishing big fish need a much higher rating, and buyers expecting bearings should look at a different swivel.
Pros and cons
- Stated size and strength
- Warranty period listed
- Black nickel finish
- Light rating only
- Listing mixes in screw terms
- No bearing mentioned
Performance notes
A plain swivel lets the line turn at the joint, which reduces twist from spinning lures. The stated rating sets the safe load, and brass with a nickel finish resists corrosion, though it adds weight.
