Overview
Barrington builds this rustic shuffleboard table around a poly-coated wood playfield on a wood frame, with storage built into the cabinet. Two four-puck sets, a speed powder can and a table brush are included.
A den or basement with space for a long table is where it makes sense, and the included pucks and powder mean play can start without extras. The limits are weight and space, plus a short warranty and no assembly detail in the listing.
Who it's for
A finished basement or den with room to stand at both ends suits a table this long. Apartment dwellers and anyone who wants a portable table should look elsewhere, since the item is heavy and long.
Pros and cons
- Pucks, powder and brush included
- Wood frame, base and top
- Two team colors of pucks
- Very heavy to move
- Assembly not described
- Short warranty period
Performance notes
A shuffleboard plays well when the playfield is level and coated with speed powder, which lets pucks slide. Upkeep uses the supplied tools, and the poly-coated wood surface is the part that wears with use.
