Overview
Not a complete shower filter, this is a cartridge that holds the filtering media, listed under the SF100 set name. Instructions come with it, and a vitamin C infusion is part of the design.
A mixed media cartridge with a vitamin C infusion targets the chlorine smell in shower water. The housing and the replacement interval are not listed.
Who it's for
Someone refreshing a shower filter in the SF100 family is the intended buyer. First-time buyers with no housing, and shoppers who want a stated cartridge life, should look at a complete filter.
Pros and cons
- Reduces chlorine, dirt and odors
- Helps control scale buildup
- Vitamin C infusion
- UL external testing listed
- Housing not included
- Cartridge life unstated
- Compatibility stated only by set name
Performance notes
Water passes through the redox media, coconut carbon and calcium sulfite in turn, so the reduction of chlorine and odor depends on contact time and how long the cartridge has been in use. The listing describes the vitamin and mineral infusion without giving quantities.
