Overview
Sampling through the built-in microphone is the first thing this pocket operator does, and a micro drum machine and sequencer turn those sounds into patterns. Effects are on board, and a silicone case wraps the unit.
It folds a sampler, drum machine, sequencer and effects into one tiny box, which suits quick sketching of beats. The listing names only an auxiliary connection, so check how it links to other gear before relying on it.
Who it's for
Suits an electronic musician sketching beats on the go who enjoys limited, hands-on tools. Anyone who needs full-size controls or extensive sync options may find it cramped.
Pros and cons
- Sampler, drum machine and sequencer
- Only auxiliary connector listed
- Power source not listed
- Small controls for big hands
Performance notes
Sounds are recorded through the microphone into the sampler, then triggered by the drum machine and arranged by the sequencer. Effects shape the result, and the limited voice count suits simple patterns.
