Overview
A deer hunter scouting several spots gets an aluminum hang-on stand in the Muddy Boss XL, with a wide stance platform. The seat and foot platform adjust, and a padded seat can be taken off.
A harness is included, and a flip-back footrest eases standing and shifting position. Capacity and tree fit are missing from the listing, so those need checking first.
Who it's for
Deer hunting, scouting and general elevated hunting from a tree suit this stand. Hunters who want to climb the tree with the stand itself should choose a climber.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable seat and foot platform
- Weight limit not listed
- Platform size not listed
- Install steps not described
Performance notes
Wide platform width and an aluminum frame set stability and carrying weight. The adjustable seat and footrest change how the hunter rests and stands, which matters over long hours on stand.
