Overview
ROCKBROS makes these platform pedals with a nylon composite body, smooth bearings and a wide stance. The thread size and platform suit a long list of bike types, from BMX to cruisers and folding bikes.
The universal thread size makes it a swap for flat pedals on many bikes, and nylon holds the weight down. Nothing in the listing states grip pins, bearing count or rider weight limit.
Who it's for
Casual and trail riders who want flat pedals for many bike styles are the target. Anyone who needs clip-in power transfer should look at clipless pedals.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight nylon body
- Common thread size
- Fits many bike types
- Grip pins not described
- Bearing details not listed
- Nylon is less stiff than metal
Performance notes
A wide nylon platform spreads foot pressure, and the bearings let the pedal spin freely. The thread size must match the crank, so fit comes down to that one measurement.
