Overview
Artisan makes this Hien in its FX Soft line as a woven polyester mouse pad built around a foam layer and a suction-cup sole. Lock stitching around the edge addresses the hard edge and sticky feel described for the older Classic line.
Easy stopping and a satin surface feel suit players who aim in short, precise movements. The limitation is the sparse and awkwardly translated listing, which leaves cleaning steps and warranty details out.
Who it's for
Gamers who like a mid-size pad with controlled stopping and a soft touch are the audience. Players who need a very large surface, or a faster glide, should look at other lines.
Pros and cons
- Soft woven surface with satin touch
- Eases stopping the mouse
- Natural rubber not used
- Import listing with rough translation
- Cleaning steps not described
- Mid-size surface only
Performance notes
The woven surface sets the glide, while the foam layer gives the pad flatness and resistance to curling. Lock stitching on the edge removes the hard border that can catch a wrist. The suction-cup sole resists sliding on the desk.
