Overview
Mounting these on a shelf, desk or stand is the intended use for this Klipsch bookshelf pair, which uses a woofer and a tweeter in an MDF cabinet. The seller says they work with DVD players, televisions and computers. They are sold in pairs.
A small footprint and an MDF cabinet make this pair easy to place near a TV or computer. The weak spot is the data: the specs list RCA, Bluetooth and a wireless subwoofer link together, which does not read like a plain passive speaker, so the connection details need checking.
Who it's for
A small room with a TV, DVD player or computer can use this pair on a shelf or stand. Buyers who need verified wireless connections or full-size tower bass should choose a different model.
Pros and cons
- Compact cabinet for shelf placement
- Sold as a matched pair
- Works with TVs and computers per listing
- Long limited warranty
- Connection details are contradictory
- Small woofer limits low bass
- Power and amplifier needs unclear
Performance notes
A five inch class woofer moves less air than a tower driver, so low bass depends on placement and room size. The tweeter handles the upper range, and the MDF cabinet limits cabinet vibration. The listed frequency response is the guide to how low it goes.
