Overview
Casting from a right-hand retrieve spincast reel, an angler gets a stainless steel handle and bearing, an anti-reverse mechanism and a monofilament spool loaded at the factory. The reel is size sixty.
Offers a simple spincast reel with the line already on it. The listing gives the capacity and drag but does not name the rod it pairs with or how the drag is adjusted.
Who it's for
Beginners, families and casual shore anglers using a spincast rod. Anglers who need a fast retrieve or smoother multi-bearing action should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Pre-spooled with line
- Stainless steel parts
- Simple spincast design
- Right hand only
- Modest gear ratio
- Rod not included
Performance notes
A spincast reel covers the spool with a nose cone so line comes off a fixed spool during the cast. The drag sets how hard a fish pulls before line slips, and the stated maximum is a ceiling rather than a typical setting. The gear ratio and retrieve length decide how fast line returns.
