Overview
An advanced active coconut carbon block does the filtering in this Pureline cartridge, which stands in for the GE MSWF and its alternate part numbers. The pack is three filters for repeat changes.
The reason to buy is a multi-pack with a clear return and replacement policy for a common GE cartridge. The limit is thin technical detail: no model list, size or filter life.
Who it's for
Households with a GE fridge that takes the MSWF cartridge can buy several changes at once. Owners of other brands should match the part number first.
Pros and cons
- Three filters per pack
- Coconut carbon block media
- Return and replacement policy stated
- WQA testing listed
- Model list not given
- Filter life not stated
- Fits GE MSWF housings only
Performance notes
Water passes through the carbon block, which adsorbs chlorine taste and odor as it flows. Real filter life depends on the water supply and how much is drawn, so a regular change schedule is the safest control.
