Overview
Not glassware, this is a clear plastic set of graduated cylinders and beakers with a hexagonal base. The cylinders cover small volumes, the beakers run up to the largest size, and droppers and a test tube brush come in the box.
The reason to choose plastic here is that nothing shatters, which helps in a classroom or a home workshop. Accuracy and heat resistance are not described in the listing, so measuring tolerance and temperature limits are unknown.
Who it's for
Teachers, students and hobbyists who want a range of sizes in one set without breakage worries. Anyone doing quantitative lab work or heating liquids should use calibrated borosilicate glassware.
Pros and cons
- Many sizes in one set
- Hexagonal base resists rolling
- Droppers and brush included
- Accuracy tolerance not listed
- Heat limit not stated
- Disposable droppers only
Performance notes
A hexagonal base helps each piece stand without rolling over on a bench. Plastic walls resist impact, but graduations on molded plastic are read for rough volumes, and the listing gives no tolerance.
