Overview
Not a fixed gym bike, this foldable unit uses a magnetic flywheel and a belt drive to give quiet resistance. It runs on battery power for its display and needs assembly with basic tools.
Folding and a quiet magnetic system are the reason to look at it, as it can be stored away between sessions. The limitation is the listing, which gives a different number of resistance levels in the title and the specs, and a different mode count in the description.
Who it's for
Apartment dwellers and casual riders who want a bike that stores away get a flexible option. Users above the weight limit, or who need confirmed resistance levels, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Folds for storage
- Magnetic resistance is quiet
- Resistance level count conflicts
- Mode count conflicts
Performance notes
Magnets near the flywheel add resistance with no contact, so there is no friction to wear down. The belt drive transfers the pedal motion smoothly, and the display runs on batteries.
