Overview
Six 19.7 inch liquid-filled floor tiles, about 16 square feet total, that shift color and pattern under pressure when stepped on or tapped. Each tile comes in a different color and has a non-slip PVC backing.
- 6 tiles, each a different color
- 19.7 inch tiles, about 16 sq ft total coverage
- Liquid-filled, pressure-reactive surface
- Non-slip PVC backing
Who it's for
Fits classrooms, therapy spaces and homes with sensory-seeking kids or children with autism who respond to visual and tactile feedback. Also works as a novelty play surface for toddlers. Not a substitute for a padded exercise or gym mat.
Pros and cons
- Liquid-fill reacts visibly to pressure, popular for sensory-seeking kids
- Non-slip PVC backing
- Priced higher than standard foam play tiles
- Less squishy underfoot than product photos suggest
Performance notes
Each tile is filled with colored liquid that shifts and pools visibly under pressure from a step or tap, which is the core sensory feedback the tiles are built around. A PVC non-slip backing is meant to keep the tiles from sliding on hard flooring during use.

Frequently asked questions
Are the tiles soft and cushioned like a foam mat?
Not especially. At least one reviewer notes they are less squishy than expected, since the tiles are liquid-filled rather than foam-padded.
