Overview
Setting a laptop on a hard High Impact Polystyrene surface, this lap desk rests on dual bolsters filled with microbeads and has a built-in ledge and two storage wells. A carry handle makes it easy to move.
Wells and a ledge give pens, phones and small items a home beside the laptop. The cushion shapes to the lap, and its design is described as improving airflow. Heavier laptops or larger sizes are not covered by the listing.
Who it's for
Kids, students and home users who work off the couch will use the wells and handle. It also suits classroom setups. People wanting a mouse pad or a wrist rest should look at other lap desks.
Pros and cons
- Dual storage wells
- Built-in device ledge
- Cushion shapes to the lap
- Hard polystyrene surface
- Weight not listed
- Short workmanship warranty
- Laptop size limit
Performance notes
Microbead bolsters mold to the legs so the hard top stays level, and airflow design is meant to let heat escape from under the laptop. The ledge stops a device from sliding. Handling is simple, with a handle for carrying.
