A set of commercial-style ceiling speakers for distributed audio. They need a matching line amplifier, so a home receiver will not drive them directly.

Overview
Four white plastic ceiling speakers arrive in this Rockville pack, each with a six inch driver for ceiling mounting in commercial spaces. A distributed-line input with selectable power levels lets several share one amplifier output.
A multi-pack and a distributed-line input are the reason to buy them for even sound coverage across a larger room. The limit is the amplifier: the listing says home audio in one line and commercial in another, so confirm what you are driving them with.
Who it's for
Installers wiring background audio across several ceiling spots will use the pack and the power taps. Home listeners connecting to an ordinary receiver should choose speakers for that use.
Pros and cons
- Four speakers in one pack
- Selectable power levels
- Ceiling mount design
- White finish blends in
- Needs a line-voltage amplifier
- Cutout size not listed
- Listing says home audio and commercial
Performance notes
A distributed line carries many speakers on one cable run, and the power tap sets how much of the amplifier output each speaker draws. The six inch driver covers voices and background music well but is not built for deep bass. Placement spacing across the ceiling decides how even coverage is.
