Overview
Shearwater Research makes the Teric as a dive computer, and this listing is for the silver version. Only a glass material, a weight and a warranty are given in the product data.
A dive computer from a specialist brand, backed by the maker's own cover, gives some assurance to a buyer. The limitation is that nearly everything a diver compares is missing: depth rating, battery, display and gas modes are all absent from the listing.
Who it's for
Divers who have researched the Shearwater Teric from the maker and only need to buy it. Newcomers who need features and ratings spelled out should read the maker page first.
Pros and cons
- Specialist dive computer brand
- Full manufacturer warranty
- Glass material listed
- Depth rating not listed
- Battery type unstated
- Part number and model rows differ
Performance notes
A dive computer is judged on its algorithm, display clarity and battery life, and none of those is described here. Weight of the unit is the only measured figure available. Treat the maker documentation as the source for how it performs.
