Overview
Not a sleeping pillow, this Amazon Basics rocket is a decorative throw pillow in a spaceship shape with a space theme. Polyester fills and covers the plush body, and it is listed for a children's bedroom.
A themed accent for a kid's bed or reading nook is the reason to look at it, and the shaped outline adds more personality than a square cushion. The care instructions are the limitation, because the cover cannot go in a machine.
Who it's for
Parents decorating a kid's room around space, rockets or spaceships get a plush shape that doubles as a cuddle toy. Shoppers needing a supportive head pillow or easy laundering should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Rocket shape with a space theme
- Plush, soft feel
- Polyester cover and fill
- Light enough for a child
- Hand wash only
- Decorative use, not for sleeping
- Pattern entry reads nautical
- Color listed only as assorted
Performance notes
A polyester fill gives the shaped body its plush feel, and the cover is the same fabric, so the whole piece is soft and light. Because the outline is a rocket rather than a square, it lies less flat than a standard cushion and works best propped against a headboard or wall. Dirt is handled by wiping or hand washing.
