Overview
The Splendide DV6400X is a 115V vented dryer built to stack with a matching washer in an RV laundry closet, with a 4.0 cubic foot stainless steel drum sized for that space.
Running on 115V rather than a standard 240V household circuit is the point here, it matches RV shore power and generator output rather than needing a dedicated home dryer line. The stainless drum and reinforced internal wiring are aimed specifically at handling the vibration of highway travel.
- 115V vented operation for RV shore power
- 4.0 cubic foot stainless steel drum
- Bi-directional drum rotation
- CULus approved for RV installation
Who it's for
Built for RV owners installing or replacing a stackable laundry setup where standard household dryers won't fit the power or space constraints. Not intended as a general apartment or home dryer replacement given its RV-specific voltage and sizing.
Pros and cons
- Runs on 115V RV shore power rather than needing a 240V line
- Stainless steel drum sized for RV installation
- Bi-directional tumbling aimed at reducing wrinkling
- CULus approved for RV use
- Requires external venting rather than being a condensing/ventless design
- 4.0 cubic foot drum is sized for RV space, smaller than most household dryers
Performance notes
The drum rotates bi-directionally during the cycle, reversing direction periodically, which the manufacturer says reduces fabric creasing and wear compared with a one-direction tumble. It vents externally rather than condensing moisture internally, so it needs a proper vent run like a standard household vented dryer.
