Overview
SpiroPure makes this replacement water filter for the refrigerators named in its compatibility list. Water passes through carbon block media, which targets contaminants down to a stated particle rating.
Stocking several cartridges at once suits households that change filters on a schedule, and the listing names the older part numbers it replaces. The compatible model list is specific, so any fridge outside it is a risk, and it is not a brand-name original.
Who it's for
Households with one of the listed refrigerator models and a habit of regular filter changes get the most from a multipack. Owners of other brands or unlisted models should confirm their filter part number first.
Pros and cons
- Three cartridges in the pack
- Carbon coconut shell media
- NSF and ANSI testing listed
- Cross-references older part numbers
- Replacement interval not listed
- Fit limited to listed models
- Short manufacturer warranty term
Performance notes
Water is pushed through the carbon block, where the filter traps particles above its micron rating and adsorbs some chemicals. A tighter rating means smaller particles are caught, though flow can slow as the cartridge loads. Real life depends on the incoming water quality and how often the cartridge is changed.
