Overview
A tool belt or job-site pouch is the natural home for this retractable knife. The handle uses alloy steel and rubber and retracts the blade either automatically or manually.
The reason to look at it is a retractable handle that supports two retraction modes. The limitation is a thin listing with a loosely described blade material and no capacity details.
Who it's for
A tradesperson or shop worker who wants a retracting blade for safe carry will use the two retraction modes. Someone who needs a knife for heavy-duty cutting should look at a model with a stated blade steel and lock.
Pros and cons
- Retractable for safe carry
- Two retraction modes
- Alloy steel and rubber handle
- Short blade for control
- Blade material described unclearly
- Replacement blade type unlisted
- Warranty entry gives no terms
Performance notes
The retracting mechanism pulls the blade into the handle so it is covered in a belt or pocket. Cutting depth is set by the exposed blade length, and the rubber covering adds grip on the handle.
