Overview
FREGITO supplies this as a split shot kit, with round lead pieces in five small weights that the title describes as removable.
Five weights allow fine adjustment of depth on light line. The count per weight is missing, and lead rules out anyone who needs non-lead weights.
Who it's for
Fine tuning bait depth in freshwater is the situation, adding shot a piece at a time. Anglers fishing deep water or strong current need heavier sinkers, and those avoiding lead need another material.
Pros and cons
- Five small weights in one kit
- Large piece count
- Removable design per title
- Count per weight not given
- Lead material only
- Heaviest weight is still light
Performance notes
Each shot adds a small amount of weight, so several can be combined to reach the depth wanted. Lead is dense, so even tiny pieces sink a rig without much bulk. Removable shot can be moved along the line without retying.
