Overview
A bare Ram box gets a textured rubber floor from this loose mat, which drops in and rolls out flat with no tools. The face is skid-resistant and the cut follows the bed contours.
The point of the RCM685 is shielding the bed floor from scuffs, scrapes and cargo wear on a Ram with the shorter box. Fitment is narrow, though. The title and the item description disagree on model years, and RamBox or liner-equipped trucks cannot use it.
Who it's for
Ram and TRX drivers with an unlined bed who want a rubber surface under their cargo. Owners of RamBox trucks, lined beds or other bed lengths should look elsewhere, and the model-year line is worth confirming before ordering.
Pros and cons
- Fits Ram and TRX listings
- Textured, skid-resistant surface
- No tools needed to install
- Recycled rubber construction
- Excludes RamBox cargo system trucks
- Excludes drop-in bed liner trucks
- Model years differ within the listing
- Weight not listed
Performance notes
The raised texture adds grip under cargo so loads slide less during hard stops. Rubber thickness cushions impacts from dropped tools and spreads concentrated weight, which slows scraping and wear on the bed floor.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Rough Country RCM685 fit Ram trucks with the RamBox cargo system?
No. The listing says it does not fit models equipped with the Rambox Cargo Management System, nor those with drop-in bed liners.
Is the RCM685 a full bed liner?
No. It is a single loose rubber mat for the bed floor, not a liner that covers the walls or a spray-in coating.
Which model years does the RCM685 cover?
The title says 2019-2022, while the item name in the specs says 2019-2025. Confirm your year and bed length with the seller before buying.
