Overview
This kit adds a brass ball-valve spigot to a plastic rain barrel, drum or bucket via a bulkhead fitting that threads from outside the container. It suits barrels between 5 and 55 gallons with a wall no thicker than 5/8 inch, drilled with a 1 to 1 1/8-inch hole.
The bulkhead fitting is female NPT-threaded on both ends, so the spigot can be installed on either side of the barrel depending on where it drains best. It is built for irrigation water, not drinking water, and Musibo is explicit that it is not lead-free compliant, so it should not go on a potable-water container.

Performance notes
Installation is a single 1 to 1 1/8-inch hole cut with a drill and hole saw, then the bulkhead fitting is threaded through with the included gaskets sealing both sides. Because both ends of the bulkhead are female NPT thread, the spigot itself can be mounted on the inside or outside face depending on the barrel's shape and drainage angle.
